The reason given by the company
The company said that the price increase has been done due to increase in cost. Mother Dairy spokesperson said that the prices of raw milk are increasing continuously. Due to the manifold increase in cost, they have increased by Rs 3 per liter in the last two months. According to the company, the situation has worsened in some parts of North India due to less rainfall and increase in fodder prices, hence the price of milk has to be increased.
