Pilar Montenegro reappears and denies that she is in serious health
The former member of Garibaldi has been retired for years, but that didn’t stop speculation about her health.
The Mexican singer and actress Pilar Montenegro, who has been out of the spotlight for several years, became the topic of conversation a few days ago after rumors about her health arose.
According to journalist Javier Ceriani, who was in charge of breaking the news, the former member of Garibaldi would be in serious condition due to ataxia, a neurological disease that causes loss of muscle coordination and balance problems.
The information about her delicate state of health was initially denied by her family in a communication they had with Televisa Espectáculos, while she broke her silence hours later.
“Regarding Pilar Montenegro's state of health, Televisa Espectáculos reached out to her family, who said she is fine. They will respect the privacy of the former member of Garibaldi, who has been retired from the media for years. They told this media that it will be Pilar who decides to talk about her life,” the aforementioned media published on its social networks.
Although Pilar has not given interviews, since she is not interested in reappearing to clarify a gossip, the interpreter gave her position through a WhatsApp conversation she had with the program 'Ventaneando', where she reiterated that she was in very good health, as her family indicated.
“I am no longer in the media, thank you anyway. I am very well,” reads the brief communication that she had with the TV Azteca program.
In addition to the aforementioned broadcast, Sergio Mayer also contacted her due to the concern caused by everything that was said about her health, but not even he managed to convince her to let them see each other.
"I told her: 'Let me come see you, I want to say hello, I want to hug you' and she said: 'No, skinny, I'm fine, thank you very much' and we have to respect that," declared Bárbara Mori's ex in conversation with the same television program.
