Dunkin' surprises with new store opening in the US that includes free coffee, prizes and cutting-edge technology
Dunkin' will open a new location in Coudersport, Pennsylvania, with special promotions, cutting-edge technology and gifts for its first customers, including free coffee for 100 days for members of its loyalty program. The coffee and donut chain continues its expansion in the United States with the opening of a new store in this town located approximately 110 miles southeast of Erie, in a move that comes a few months after the closure of another establishment in the area.
Free coffee for 100 days for the first customers
To celebrate the opening scheduled for June 12, Dunkin' will offer a special promotion for its first 100 Dunkin' Rewards member customers who arrive after 9:00 in the morning.
Participants will be able to win 100 days of free coffee, consisting of a medium hot or iced drink daily, redeemable through the brand's official application.
Requirements include being over 18 years old and having an active account in the loyalty program or registering on the day of the event.
Raffles, gifts and activities at the opening
In addition to free coffee, those attending the inauguration will be able to participate in different dynamics, such as a prize roulette with promotional items.
The event will also include a free photo booth available from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., designed to attract customers during the first hours of opening.
Technology and digital experience in the new store
The new location, spanning 1,680 square feet, is operated by franchisee Rahul Prajapati through Coudersport Donut LLC. The store incorporates automatic cold beverage machines, a tap technology that allows you to quickly serve cold drinks such as iced coffee, iced tea and nitro coffee, as well as high-end espresso machines.
It also includes self-service digital kiosks and a dedicated mobile ordering area, designed to streamline customer flow and enhance the experience for Dunkin’ Rewards members.
The store will operate every day of the week, from 5:00 in the morning to 8:00 at night, and will generate 10 new jobs in the local community.
Community impact and local giving
As part of the opening, Coudersport Donut LLC will make a $3,000 donation to the Coudersport Alliance Church Food Bank, an organization that has supported the community for nearly three decades.
Expansion amid changes in the coffee industry
The opening of this new branch occurs in a context of changes in the sector, where some chains such as Starbucks have announced store closures, while other brands such as Dutch Bros continue their expansion with new openings and customer attraction strategies.
Dunkin' seeks to strengthen its presence in the market with a focus on technology, loyalty and promotions aimed at digital consumers.
