A katana, armor and the samurai code of honor found a rather particular way to reach the automotive industry. Lamborghini took that inspiration to create the Revuelto Impavido, a special edition that celebrates the Italian brand's 25 years of presence in Japan.

Production will be limited to just 25 numbered units, which makes this Revuelto a piece designed from the beginning for collectors. The name was not chosen at random either. “Impavido” means intrepid or brave in Italian and sums up quite well the concept that Lamborghini wanted to bring to this creation.

The connection with Japan was built around Bushido, the ancient code of conduct associated with the samurai and related to values such as bravery, discipline, loyalty and determination.
A body that tells the story
The samurai influence appears in practically every corner of the body. The sharp shapes of the doors and the rear sector seek to recall the movement of a katana, while the golden details take as a reference the odoshi, the silk cords used to join the pieces of traditional armor.
There is also a reference to the maedate, the decoration that was placed on the samurai helmet and that could represent protection, honor and identity.
On the roof and fenders, Lamborghini visually reinterpreted the kozane, the small plates that were part of Japanese armor. The brand took that concept to geometric surfaces that fit with the aggressive language of the Revuelto.
Four ways to interpret Japan
The 25 examples can be configured in four color combinations, each one with a different reference to Japanese culture.
Verde Campus takes inspiration from Hisui jade, considered the national stone of Japan and associated with nature and life. Grigio Artis Lucido, for its part, seeks to remember the steel of a katana and the concepts of honor and artisanal perfection.
Grigio Crater Matt is inspired by the dark armor of the samurai, while Rosso Pyra recovers the well-known Sanada red, related to courage and strength.
All configurations incorporate bronze details, specific carbon fiber parts, brake calipers in the same tone and 21 and 22-inch Altanero forged wheels. The exhaust outlets receive a matte black finish.
An interior made for collectors
The special treatment continues inside the cabin. Lamborghini combines Nero Ade leather with Corsa Tex fabric and uses bronze stitching to accompany the different elements inspired by Japan.
The seats receive exclusive embroidery and both the roof and the door panels have specific graphics related again to the samurai universe.
One of the details that makes the collector's item status clearer is the numbered carbon fiber plate. Each unit will carry its corresponding identification, such as “1 of 25”, as well as an exclusive logo that distinguishes the Impavido within the Revuelto family.
The V12 continues to be the protagonist
All this customization does not change the mechanical essence of the supercar. The Revuelto Impavido retains the hybrid system that combines a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine with three electric motors and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The combination delivers 1,015 horsepower, a figure that makes it clear that the special edition is not limited to an aesthetic transformation. Beneath all those Japanese-inspired details remains the same high-performance machine that characterizes the Revuelto.
Only 25 units and no confirmed price
Lamborghini has not yet revealed how much the Revuelto Impavido will cost, although it will be difficult for it to stay close to the entry price of the conventional model. The standard Revuelto starts at approximately $600,000 and this edition adds extremely limited production, numerous custom elements and exclusive design work.
Therefore, it is reasonable to expect the Impavido to exceed $700,000, although that figure has not yet been officially confirmed.
What is defined is its exclusivity. Only 25 people will be able to take home this particular encounter between the Italian V12 and the Japanese samurai tradition.
