Two pedestrians were killed and two more were hospitalized due to a hit-and-run incident, with the driver involved at large after fleeing on foot, following the mishap that occurred Friday night in the Santa Monica area of ??Los Angeles.
The The Santa Monica Police Department said officers responded to the 1300 block of Wilshire Boulevard, between Euclid Street and Euclid Court, at approximately 9:15 p.m. "Preliminary information indicates the involved vehicle was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of Wilshire Boulevard when it mounted the curb and struck the four pedestrians," the police department said in a statement.
