The third season of 'Euphoria', the acclaimed HBO teen drama created by Sam Levinson, is preparing for its return in spring 2026 with important news in its cast and technical crew.
The series incorporates 18 new cast members are joining the cast, with notable names like Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, and Eli Roth. They are joined by a long list of actors such as Sam Trammell, Colleen Camp, and Gideon Adlon, among others.
In addition, the return of main stars such as Zendaya (Rue), Hunter Schafer (Jules), Jacob Elordi (Nate), and Sydney Sweeney (Cassie) is confirmed, along with other supporting characters such as Dominic Fike (Elliot) and Nika King (Leslie, Rue's mother).
How many episodes will the new season have?
After several production delays, the new season, which will consist of eight episodes, also renews its creative team. Four-time Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood joins as co-producer, while composer Hans Zimmer will be in charge of the soundtrack, collaborating with Labrinth, creator of the iconic music from the previous seasons.
The series will also miss the absences of Storm Reid (Gia), Barbie Ferreira (Kat) and the late Angus Cloud (Fezco), who passed away in 2023.
Euphoria, which follows the lives of a group of high school students led by Rue, a teenager in recovery from drug addiction, has established itself as HBO's most-watched series without dragons or zombies, having won nine Emmy Awards out of 25 nominations.
