On Sunday, August 2, Mariana Ochoa became the first eliminated from “La Casa de los Famosos México” in its fourth season. The singer and actress left the competition with a face that showed her total perplexity at the result.
The public reaction on social media has been divided. The truth is that many expected the former OV7 to continue in competition from the perspective of the drama and conflict that it could bring against Aldo Rendón.
However, even though the current viewer of this reality show applauds a good drama, it is also true that this edition is being entertaining in its first days without the need to fall into false or premeditated conflicts created with the sole objective of justifying "content" for "stay."
Luis Chaparro returned home and the reaction of his teammates said it all. The house was eagerly awaiting Luis's return and not Mariana's. Ochoa failed to connect massively with the Mexican public. Viewers who are connecting strongly with characters like Gemma, Aldo, Luis, Memo, Yahir, Massad, Karina and Ernesto Laguardia, among others.
For now the house is more fun and although there is drama and conflict. This is more subtle than the explosion that characters like Oriana Marzoli, Fabio Agostini and Zoe Bayona brought during the first 48 hours of competition in Telemundo's “La Casa de los Famosos 6.”
Now, prior to the elimination of Mariana Ochoa, another name that was strongly suggested to leave the competition was that of Yanet García, the former “Climate Girl” of the program “Hoy”, who has not managed to convince viewers who are fans of this format.
