However, surprise this didn't come alone. And it was finally revealed that the theatrical release of “Avengers: Doomsday” will take place on December 18, 2026, in theaters worldwide. The images emerge after a week of rumors about leaks on digital platforms, confirming what many fans of the franchise were hoping for: a new opportunity to enjoy Chris Evans as Steve Rogers on screen. Just over a year after the events of Thunderbolts (2025), the Avengers, Wakandans, Fantastic Four, New Avengers, and predecessors: “Infinity War” and “Endgame.” Since production began in late March 2025, Marvel announced the names of the 26 cast members for this film.
