After her recent departure from the program “La Casa de los Famosos México 4”, Mariana Ochoa broke the silence and offered a detailed testimony about the internal dynamics that, according to her, the production of the reality show uses to generate content with high emotional impact.
In an interview with journalist Jessie Cervantes, the former OV7 member explained that the atmosphere inside the house is not a product of chance, it is more of a meticulously planned strategy to destabilize the participants.
Ochoa revealed that sleep control is one of the main tools, achieved through various environmental stimuli:
Constant lighting: Bedroom lights stay on for long periods or turn on abruptly, preventing a restful rest.
Extreme temperatures: The air conditioning adjusts to levels of intense cold to generate discomfort and make sleep difficult.
Time disorientation: Activities, confessional calls and group dynamics are scheduled at inconvenient times, forcing celebrities to remain in a permanent state of alert.
Psychological impact
The singer stated that this sleep deprivation has a direct psychological impact: it accentuates fatigue, disrupts coexistence, multiplies misunderstandings and triggers friction between residents in a short period of time, which ultimately translates into the drama that the program seeks to capture on camera.
"They don't let you sleep easily; the lighting and the cold they put in the rooms are designed precisely to keep you alert, disoriented and with your emotions on the surface," were part of the actress' statements.
In addition to the conditions inside the house, Ochoa also detailed the strict isolation protocols during the elimination galas, where the contestants are transported blindfolded through secondary entrances to avoid any contact with the outside world and keep them in absolute uncertainty until the moment of the public verdict.
