North West's debut opening act for rapper Molly Santana's Kimokawaii Tour has been cancelled. According to a statement issued by the main artist, the presentations will not take place due to force majeure.
"To everyone who purchased tickets for the tour: I sincerely apologize. I know many of you have taken time out of your busy schedules and spent your hard-earned money to plan to attend," Santana wrote on her Instagram stories.
Without revealing the reason behind the cancellation, the “So Right” singer said she was sad to have to cancel her tour; However, he promised to compensate them in the future.
"Nothing makes me happier than the opportunity to share more incredible memories with all of you, and I hope to see you soon. I thank you very much; please know that I never take your time or your support lightly. I love you very much and I promise that I will make it up to you. Black Punk on the way; I'll be right back," he concluded.
The tour, which was scheduled to premiere on August 5 in Dallas, Texas, would support North West, who released her debut EP, N0rth4evr, in May.
This musical project took the public by surprise and unleashed a wide conversation thanks to the six rap-rock songs written and produced by herself that comprise it. With this launch, the young woman made clear her desire to follow in her father's footsteps in the industry.
