Acharya Prashant Raises Climate Alarm: “We’ve Already Crossed 1.5°C A Dangerous Tipping Point”
Author Acharya Prashant warns of irreversible climate feedback cycles as global temperatures exceed 1.5°C limit ahead of 2030. A dire call for urgent climate action.
In a powerful and deeply thought-provoking address during the launch of his new book “Decoding Success”, renowned author and founder of the PrashantAdvait Foundation, Acharya Prashant, sounded a chilling alarm on the escalating climate crisis.
“To save the Earth,” he stated with clarity and concern, “the United Nations COP had very clearly laid down the condition backed by hard scientific data that we must reduce our carbon emissions to ensure global temperatures do not rise more than 1.5 degrees Celsius, even by 2030.”
But in a stark revelation that should awaken every conscious citizen of the planet, he added, “2025 has arrived, and we’ve already crossed that 1.5°C threshold. This is not just a number. This is an omen of large-scale destruction waiting on the horizon.”
The initiative dubbed “Operation 2030” was envisioned to keep the temperature increase in check till at least the year 2030. However, Acharya Prashant underscored with concern that “we have surpassed that limit prematurely in 2025 itself.”
The Dangerous Reality Behind the 1.5°C Rise
“The figure of 1.5 degrees Celsius is not arbitrary,” he emphasized. “Once the Earth’s average temperature exceeds this critical point, dangerous feedback cycles begin to activate.”
Explaining further in deeply relatable terms, he warned, “A feedback cycle means that even if we stop emitting additional carbon dioxide, certain self-sustaining mechanisms get triggered in nature. These mechanisms continue to release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere beyond human control.”
In essence, Acharya Prashant conveyed that we are no longer just facing a crisis we may have entered a runaway climate scenario where nature begins to spiral without the possibility of immediate human intervention.
A Wake-Up Call for Humanity
With rising temperatures, melting ice caps, erratic weather events, and irreversible ecological shifts, this is more than an environmental issue it’s a survival issue. Acharya Prashant’s words were not merely warnings; they were a call to action.
“We need to move beyond declarations and truly transform our lifestyle, our politics, and our economics. This is not just about climate science this is about human consciousness,” he concluded with urgency and hope.
