There are romantic gestures that define a relationship, and Benny Blanco's most recent one set the bar very high. The renowned music producer surprised by revealing that he undertook a boat trip across the Atlantic Ocean with a single purpose: to meet in the United Kingdom with his wife, actress and singer Selena Gomez, to celebrate her 34th birthday.

The “Only Murders in the Building” star is in London filming the sixth season of the acclaimed Hulu series. Given the distance and due to a deep fear of airplanes, Blanco decided that flying was not an acceptable option, opting instead for a long sea voyage so as not to miss his partner's special day.

Through his TikTok account, the producer shared a video sailing in the open sea, accompanied by the phrase: “POV: You are traveling across the Atlantic on the Titanic to see your wife because you are afraid of flying.”

With humor and romanticism, Blanco set the clip to music with Sam Cooke's classic song, “Nothing Can Change This Love,” and added in the description: “The things we do for love.”

Gomez's response was immediate. After the long-awaited reunion on British soil, the artist published an emotional carousel of photos on her Instagram profile in which they are seen sharing romantic displays of affection. The publication was accompanied by a touching message: "Distance means so little when someone means so much. I miss you, baby."

It is not the first time that Blanco has resorted to sea or land routes to avoid air transport, a phobia that both have spoken openly about in previous interviews. After getting married in September 2025, the couple has shown that distance is not an obstacle to their complicity.
