The final round of counseling was completed on Wednesday for the appointment of more than 32 thousand secondary and higher secondary teachers. According to departmental sources, counseling was to be held for Zilla Parishad planning units on Wednesday. In these, the planning units of the Zilla Parishad of Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Bettiah and two other places did not conduct counseling. The Education Department has considered it a serious negligence.
Show cause notice issued to officials
The department will issue show cause notices to the chief executive officers of all these districts. Where the counseling has not been done carelessly, then the department will consider separately for further counseling. Apart from these, all other Zilla Parishad planning units have got counseling done in a better way. In which planning units, how many teachers have been selected? This information has not yet been obtained.
Selection list will be released soon
Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Deepak Kumar Singh said that information is being taken about the district planning units which are unable to get counselling. Counseling of secondary and higher secondary teachers is being held from July 25. On July 25, the counseling of the municipal corporation and on 26 the nagar panchayat planning units has been done. It is noteworthy that the administrators have been appointed in the municipal bodies, so the selection list will be issued there soon.
Counseling affected due to absence of office bearers
Bihar Education Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary himself had requested Tarkishore Prasad (Minister, Urban Development Department) to post office bearers in this regard. He had assured the posting of the concerned officials but they could not be posted. He said that due to this, information about the interruption of counseling was received from the education department. Let us inform that the official information has not been given by the department about the selection of eligible candidates for the posts of counseling and municipal teachers in the planning units.
Expected to get appointment letter by July 30
According to the various municipal bodies and city council planning unit at the district level, the counseling of candidates in order of merit was done on July 26. On July 27, according to the list of the Zilla Parishad Planning Unit at the district level, the counseling of the candidates was to be completed. The selected candidates from all the three types of planning units are expected to get the appointment letter on July 30, giving consent letter.
