The problems of BJP's strong leader and former Bihar Industries Minister Shahnawaz Hussain have increased. The Delhi High Court has ordered registration of a case against the BJP leader in a rape case. Shahnawaz Hussain was challenging the lower court's decision in this case, but the High Court has rejected that petition. At the same time, the court has also reprimanded the police during the hearing of this case.

Former Industries Minister of Bihar Shahnawaz Hussain is a strong leader of BJP. An order of the Delhi High Court has increased their problems. Shahnawaz Hussain is accused in a rape case. In which the victim had demanded to file an FIR in the year 2018 itself.

The Saket court had also ordered registration of an FIR after a few months. This order was challenged by Shahnawaz Hussain in front of a special judge in the Saket court itself. But after not getting relief there, the matter reached the High Court. In 2018 itself, the High Court had put an interim stay on the order to register the FIR.

In this case of Shahnawaz Hussain, the High Court reprimanded the police. The judge expressed apprehension that the police was hesitant in registering the case. The court also questioned the attitude of the police. While rejecting the petitioner's appeal, the Delhi Police has been directed to investigate the matter within three months and file a charge sheet in the court under Section 173 of the IPC.

In April 2018, a Delhi woman had accused BJP's strongman Shahnawaz Hussain of rape. The woman alleges that she was raped by feeding intoxicants at a farm house in Chhatarpur. The woman complained about this to the Delhi Police but went to the court as the case was not registered. In this case, the Saket district court had directed the Delhi Police to register a case.
