Ricardo La Volpe does not see good continuity in the Mexican team

The former El Tri coach believes that the best thing for a team is to maintain the same philosophy over the years, regardless of the players on the bench. La Volpe gave Morocco as an example.
"If you can do what Morocco does, which plays in the same way, there could be something interesting. The system is important, but the class of players is very important," said the Argentine in a statement published by Récord.
In this sense, La Volpe considers that the move from Javier Aguirre to Rafa Márquez would be starting from scratch. The “Kaiser” has a philosophy of greater associative play and defending with possession of the ball. Approaches contrary to those that “Basque” could offer.
“Now we are going to have a coach who I doubt Rafa Márquez has the same football philosophy as Javier Aguirre,” La Volpe added.

In addition to the topic of game philosophy, Ricardo La Volpe insisted on the development of Mexican soccer players in Liga MX. The Argentine strategist asks for greater space and prominence for the Aztec soccer players in the local tournament. "I say again what I said many years ago. I have worked with young people, I know them; if we don't lower the number of foreign players... we need more young people in the first division. The leaders of the Liga MX clubs are foreigners. We need more of the 'morros'," he stated.
