Ladakh Road Accident: 7 soldiers died in a horrific road accident on Friday in the Turtuk sector of Ladakh. Whereas, 19 jawans were seriously injured in this accident. All the injured jawans have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. According to preliminary information, the bus of the soldiers was going from the transit camp towards the forward location of Sub Sector Hanif.

Bus fell 50-60 feet in Shyok river

It is being told in the media report quoting army sources that the vehicle carrying 26 army personnel on the forward front from Partapur slipped and fell 50-60 feet into the Shyok river. According to the information received so far, seven soldiers have been declared dead. The remaining 19 injured soldiers have been shifted to the Western Command Hospital Chandimandir with the help of the Air Force, so that they can get better medical facilities. It is not yet known what caused the army vehicle to fall into the river.

The accident happened about 25 km from Thoise

Indian Army sources said that efforts are on to ensure best treatment to the injured in the road accident. The seriously injured are being transferred to the Western Command. The help of the Air Force has been taken in this. According to the information received, this accident happened about 25 km from Thoise, where the army bus fell into the Shyok river at a depth of about 50-60 feet. All the soldiers of the army were injured in this.
