As a major expansion bet for this year, the discount chain in the United States, Burlington, recently announced the opening of 12 more stores during the month of August in at least eight states in the country and Puerto Rico.
The retailer specializing in clothing, footwear and household items at very low prices announced that its expansion plan includes the opening of 100 stores by the end of this year with the aim of reaching 1,000 establishments.

Through the statement, Burlington's CEO, Michael O'Sullivan, noted that the company opted for an "improved design" on this occasion, while continuing to offer its excellent relationship between price and quality in products from well-known brands.
“We look forward to giving shoppers the opportunity to find great discounts, discover new brands and enjoy the new and improved design of our stores, no matter where they live,” said O’Sullivan.
Burlington, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, has more than 50 years in retail; To date, it has some 1,138 establishments in almost the entire country, distinguishing itself from the competition as the discount chain that offers discounts of up to 60% on clothing from well-known brands.
