On the way, Devraj, a resident of the village, raped her. On the complaint of the family members, the police registered a case against the accused. After investigation, the police presented the charge sheet in the court. The public prosecutor appealed for maximum punishment to the accused. Based on the statements of the witnesses and the evidence available on the record, Special Judge POCSO Act Santosh Kumar Tripathi sentenced the accused of rape with rigorous imprisonment for five years.
