A 54-year-old woman pleaded guilty to murdering his second wife, a Cal Fire pump captain, in February 2025 in San Diego County.

Yolanda Olejniczak pleaded guilty before the San Diego Superior Court to second-degree murder for the crime of Rebecca Marodi, on February 17, 2025, in addition to admitting that she used a knife to commit the homicide.

Olejniczak was previously in prison, from 2004 to 2013, after being convicted of murder in the 2000 stabbing death of her then-husband, Jim Olejniczak, in Riverside County.
