Dayanara Torres cries in El Gordo y La Flaca After Suffering the Sudden Death of Her Dog
Dayanara Torres could not hold back her tears when she remembered Coco who was everything to her and who died on Wednesday
Puerto Rican presenter Dayanara Torres, 50, who was Miss Universe 1993, is going through very complicated moments on a personal level, after having to say goodbye to Coco, her dog, overnight.
The former beauty queen shared the painful news on her social networks, where she detailed that her faithful companion lost her life at the age of 10.
Goodbye, my sweet Coco This morning, after 10 beautiful years together, we said goodbye to our little princess, Coco, Marc Anthony's ex began by saying.
She then detailed how important her dog was to her and everyone in her house, so her departure left an unimaginable void.
She was too attached to me... and I loved her for that. I was her everything, and she was mine. That bond was something unique, true, and I will carry it with me forever, said Dayanara, who detailed that her dog died at 8:10 in the morning on Wednesday at home and surrounded by those who loved her in life.
Despite the hard blow she received from Coco's departure, that was not an impediment for Dayanara to be absent from El Gordo y La Flaca™, a show that she sometimes hosts in the absence of Lili Estefan.
There in the broadcast she delved into details about what happened to Coco and could not help but shed tears, because she never imagined that her visit to the vet would end up being her last.
I had no idea she was sick. I took her to the vet because she wasn't feeling well, and from then on I practically had to say goodbye to her. I wasn't prepared, and neither were my children. I took her to the vet because her gums were a little too light, Dayanara said.
Then she was given the heartbreaking diagnosis, so there was nothing she could do for Coco.
He told me she had anemia and that she needed a blood transfusion. I ran to the hospital to have them do all of that, but she was really sick inside, and I had to say goodbye. "I brought her home. At least I said goodbye. I slept with her one more night. My children were able to say goodbye to her. It was very difficult; she was already suffering from an illness," said Dayanara, who couldn't hold back her tears at Raúl de Molina's consolation.
