Jennifer Lopez is feeling fine after her accident during rehearsals prior to the 2025 American Music Awards, which will be held this Monday in Las Vegas.
In a recent interview with People magazine, JLo, who will be the presenter of the awards, shared some details about her accident.
“I hurt my nose. I hit it in rehearsal and they had to get stitches. I’m fine. Some of us have hurt ourselves in rehearsals. We are doing an athletic number with a lot of energy, so I guess it’s inevitable,” said the singer.
JLo, who has hosted the awards on several occasions, reflected on her return to the AMAs ceremony and how special it is for her.
“I have participated in this awards show for so long and I have been part of the American music scene for so many years, and I can’t believe the number of times I have performed at the American Music Awards. I think it’s 10! It’s crazy!” she said.
Last week, Jennifer Lopez revealed through her Instagram Stories that she suffered a painful accident, which caused an injury to her face that required stitches, during rehearsals before the American Music Awards.
The singer She shared a photo of her face after the incident. “So… this happened,” she wrote alongside a photo of a deep cut on the bridge of her nose, with bruising around her right eye.
In another post, J-Lo assured that her wound was healing well and that she was being treated by plastic surgeon Dr. Diamond.
“One week later and a lot of ice, I’m good as new,” she wrote on a photo with the doctor.
In April, it was announced that J-Lo would host the awards show, whose nominations were led by rapper Kendrick Lamar.
