William Levy spoke publicly about how he feels almost four months after being arrested after an incident at a restaurant in Weston, Florida.

During an interview on the program Despierta America, the Cuban actor explained that he is fine and He assured that it was not as serious as reported.

"(I'm) fine, fine, everything is super fine, thank God. Thank God it wasn't like many people have been saying," the actor assured.

Levy clarified that everything that happened was a disagreement between two people and that he only intervened to prevent the situation from getting worse. The actor said that the news about his arrest was exaggerated and that the reality was not as people have said.

"For some reason, everything that happens around me is exploited too much, they exaggerate it too much," he said. "It wasn't like people say it was a problem between two people and well, I broke it up," he added.

The incident, which occurred last April, originated at a restaurant called Baires Grill, where he and some friends were consuming alcoholic beverages. According to reports, there was an argument related to the bill and the disagreement escalated, so the police were called.

At the time, Levy was arrested on charges of disturbing public order and trespassing. He spent the night in jail and was released after posting $500 bail.

In his statements, Levy denied having acted aggressively or having refused to pay the bill and explained that his intervention was to mediate and prevent the situation from getting worse.

The actor, who in July was accepted into a misdemeanor diversion program, has expressed that he faces this experience with humor and considers it just another episode in his life.

Currently, Levy is focused on his professional commitments and recently premiered the series Camino a Arcadia on the Vix platform.
