Bad Bunny won't be alone: ??Who are the other artists performing at the Super Bowl?
In addition to the Puerto Rican artist, Charlie Puth, Brandi Carlile, and Coco Jones will perform at the halftime show of the biggest sporting event in the US
Bad Bunny won't be the only star at Super Bowl LX. Recently, the NFL confirmed that other artists will also perform at the halftime show of America's biggest sporting event. On February 8, the Super Bowl LX halftime show at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara will feature three artists to complement the day's musical lineup: Charlie Puth, Brandi Carlile, and Coco Jones. Each artist will have a specific role in the show. Charlie Puth will perform the U.S. national anthem, Brandi Carlile will sing “America the Beautiful,” and Coco Jones will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” known as the Black National Anthem. The NFL noted that each performance will feature sign language interpretation by Fred Beam and Julian Ortiz. In September, it was announced that Bad Bunny will headline the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show. The news was celebrated by both his fans and colleagues in the music industry, but it also generated criticism. Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show, on February 8 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, will mark a milestone in the reggaeton artist's career and in Latin music, as he will be the first Latin American artist to headline the show solo. Bad Bunny's Response to the Criticism In his return to Saturday Night Live as host, Bad Bunny responded firmly to the criticism received for his upcoming Super Bowl performance.
With a message in Spanish addressed to his critics, the Puerto Rican artist, who thanked everyone for the opportunity to be the main performer of the Super Bowl halftime show, highlighted the importance of Latino representation at events of global magnitude, but above all the contribution that Latinos have made in the United States.
“Everyone is happy, especially all the Latinos and Latinas around the world and here in the United States, all the people who have worked to open doors. More than an achievement of mine,"It's an achievement for everyone, demonstrating that our mark and our contribution to this country can never be erased or removed," he said proudly. At the end of his speech, delivered in Spanish, Bad Bunny also joked with those who didn't understand: "If you didn't understand what I said, you have four months to learn Spanish."
