Maribel Guardia dedicates heartfelt words to Aylín Mujica after the death of her son
Through a publication on Instagram, Guardia dedicated a message of encouragement to the actress, Aylín Mujica.
“No mother should say goodbye to a child,” Maribel Guardia expressed to Aylín Mujica, after the loss of her son. The Costa Rican actress went through a similar pain in 2023 when she lost her son Julián Figueroa.
This July 17, the death of Mauro, the son of the Cuban actress and host Aylín Mujica, was confirmed. According to the first reports, the young man suffered from pneumonia that led to a heart attack, which ended his life while he was in Barbados, a country to which he had traveled to participate in a baseball game.
Faced with this tragedy, one of the first public figures to speak out was Maribel Guardia, who knows firsthand the weight of such a loss. The Costa Rican actress lost her own son, Julián Figueroa, on April 9, 2023, and since then her fans have called her an example of resilience, keeping his memory alive with messages, photos and everyday memories.

On this occasion, Maribel dedicated some heartfelt words to Aylín through her social networks. "Today I cry with you, dear @aylinmujic. No mother should say goodbye to a child," she began her post.
Then, he added: "I know that love does not end when life changes shape, because children live forever in our hearts. May God embrace you, hold you and give you the strength necessary to go through this immense pain. I am with you."
The actress also wanted to let Mujica know that she is not alone: "And I know that all of us mothers who have lost a child hug you and bless you from a distance. And rest assured that your beloved child is in the light, in the presence of God's infinite love."
For her part, Aylín Mujica was recording the new season of the reality show “Top Chef VIP” in Colombia, when she received the devastating news. According to journalist Mandy Fridmann, the driver interrupted her work commitments and immediately traveled to Barbados to be near her family.
So far, no official statement has been issued by the family, and it is unknown if the actress will resume her activities on the program.
