David Bisbal, jury of the reality show “Operación Triunfo Unidos”, spoke for the first time about the early end of the singing competition, broadcast on the Telemundo signal.

Through his Instagram account, the “Ave María” interpreter reacted to the comments that the public made about the preview of the grand finale of the reality show, scheduled for August 10, just one month after its premiere.

The conversation about this began in the comments section of a publication in which David Bisbal compiled the best moments experienced during his stay in Colombia in recent weeks, highlighting the warmth of its people and the places he visited with his family.

"Colombia has always treated me with immense affection. Walking through Bogotá, sharing these moments with my family, feeling the love of the people again... has reminded me why I always feel so happy here," he detailed in his post.

However, there was a user who pointed out the reason for his short stay in the Latin American country: “What a shame that the program was a failure but the format, with so many changes, did not quite gel,” he wrote.

The artist born in Almería, Spain did not hesitate to respond to this statement with a dose of sincerity regarding the situation. "I'm sure that at some point I will be able to talk about this project. The good thing is that the boys and girls sing spectacularly and that if they continue working, why not? They will fulfill their dream sooner or later," he explained.

To close his message, David Bisbal said he was excited to find out who will be the big winner of this edition: “I am also looking forward to experiencing the semifinal and final this coming weekend,” he stressed.

Minutes after this interaction, the multi-award-winning singer decided to add a second message to his publication. There he avoided mentioning the debate that was generated on social networks after the preview of the final of “Operación Triunfo Unidos”, but he did highlight the magical moments experienced during filming.

"After so many weeks of work with Operación Triunfo, we finally reached the semi-final and the final. They have been very intense days, with a lot of excitement and meeting wonderful people," he commented. “But I have also been lucky enough to once again enjoy a land to which I had not returned for a long time.”

It will be next August 10 when “Operación Triunfo Unidos” will see one of the 16 participants emerge as the big winner of the singing competition. Just one day later, on August 11, the fifth season of “Top Chef VIP” will begin, sharply at 7pm/6c on the Telemundo signal.
