Businesswoman and television personality Khloé Kardashian will add a new milestone to her career on the small screen with the launch of “The Girls: A Khloé Kardashian Project,” a reality show that will put the life, business and personal relationships of her inner circle of friends in the spotlight.
The format is scheduled to officially premiere in the United States on August 21 through the Hulu streaming platform.
According to the information released by the production, the program will document the way in which this group of women simultaneously faces the demands of motherhood, entrepreneurship, life as a couple and constant media pressure.
“Between professional successes, family challenges, friend getaways, launch parties and decisions that can mark the course of their lives, her friendship with Khloé is the bond that unites them,” said the Disney statement.
Although mutual affection functions as the central axis of the narrative, the production anticipates that the show will not avoid moments of friction. As coexistence progresses, unexpected tensions, old unresolved wounds and differences of opinion will arise that will test the strength of the friendship as each continues to evolve in their public and private lives.
The main cast is made up of Natalie Halcro, sisters Khadijah Haqq and Malika Haqq, Yris Palmer, Olivia Pierson and Nicole Williams English, personalities who, for the most part, already have experience in social networks and television.
Behind the cameras, the program relies on a creative team with extensive experience in reality shows. Producers such as Julie Pizzi, Farnaz Farjam, Nicole Blais and Lauren Goldstein — who were part of the team behind the iconic “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” — lead this project, guaranteeing the aesthetics and dramatic intensity that have established the Kardashian brand globally.
