The singer and actress Mariana Ochoa, one of the 18 participants in the fourth season of “La Casa de los Famosos México”, told her colleagues that she was about to cancel her participation in the reality show due to a serious health problem that was triggered after a family trip to Europe.
During the nominees' dinner, the former OV7 member revealed that during a European vacation she took with her children, Valentina, 12, and Salvador, 10, she was diagnosed with diverticula.
“I arrived very badly, I had to go for analysis and it turns out that I have diverticula, I almost canceled my participation,” Mariana confessed.
What is diverticula?
The singer explained that the severe stomach discomfort she experienced led her to undergo medical tests that resulted in the diagnosis of diverticula, a medical condition that, according to the Mayo Clinic, consists of the inflammation of bulging bags in the wall of the large intestine, whose symptoms include abdominal pain, fever and changes in stool.
Fortunately, the medical attention was timely and the medication he received allowed him to join the reality show without any major setbacks.
“I managed to get them to medicate me before entering, but there were a couple of days before entering (that I thought), 'let's see if I can clear it,'” the singer confessed.
It should be noted that Mariana Ochoa entered “La Casa de los Famosos México 4” single, since she recently ended her eight-year relationship with businessman Mauricio Vaca Tavera, a situation that she herself made known during her presentation on the first night of the reality show.
