New images of Belinda characterized as Charlotte of Belgium came to light, generating great expectation among her followers. Broadcast by the HBO Max streaming platform, the photos show the artist's impressive transformation to give life to one of the most complex, influential and tragic historical figures of the 19th century in Mexico.

In the images, the actress and singer wears a meticulously detailed wardrobe with her wavy brown hair parted in the middle. The production design and setting work reflects the historical rigor of the production, which will address both the complex political commitments and the personal passages that defined the existence of the empress alongside Maximilian of Habsburg during the Second Mexican Empire.

The series consists of 10 episodes and is scheduled to premiere between the end of 2026 and the beginning of 2027.

The cast also includes figures such as Miguel Ángel Silvestre, Mabel Cadena, Bárbara de Regil and Sebastián Zurita, under the direction of Alejandro Bazzano (La casa de papel) and Ana Lorena Pérez Ríos.

For Belinda, this role represents one of the most significant challenges in her dramatic career, marking her return to a major leading role on television. The revelation of these images comes at a key moment for the artist, whose name had remained on the media agenda in recent weeks due to intense controversies on digital platforms.

Recently, the performer was at the center of public conversation after pausing an expected musical collaboration with Danna and Kenia Os due to administrative issues with their record labels.

The situation triggered a strong confrontation between groups of fans, causing Belinda to publicly denounce having received death threats and thousands of harassing messages. Given this, the actress decided to remove a message from her networks to protect her mental health, appealing to respect and empathy.
