Verónica del Castillo was eliminated from “La Casa de los Famosos 6” this Friday, June 5. The renowned journalist and host said goodbye to the $200,000 reality show race.
Just as independent polls predicted, Del Castillo did not garner enough public support to remain in the race. With the journalist's farewell, there is still one elimination pending this week, which will take place tomorrow, Sunday, June 7.
Del Castillo is also known for being the daughter of leading actor Eric del Castillo and sister of Kate del Castillo.
Who were the nominees?
The other participants who were in danger of elimination were Yordian Martínez, Kenny Rodríguez, Horacio Pancheri, Josh Martínez and Fabio Agostini.
However, Argentine Horacio Pancheri became a finalist and joined Luis Coronel, Celinee Santos, Curvy Zelma and Stefano Piccioni.
At the beginning of this season 21 participants started and later others joined the competition. The first to enter, a week after the reality show began, was Luis Coronel.
Later, in week number 10, Sandra Itzel, Verónica del Castillo, Jeni de la Vega and Lorena Herrera entered, who were eliminated.
