A fire broke out at the Quality Pharmaceutical Factory located on Majitha Road in Amritsar on Thursday. Four workers, including a teenager and a woman, died in a fire incident at a pharmaceutical factory. The factory owners immediately informed the fire brigade.

There was a stir as soon as the fire broke out in the factory. The employees working inside came out from wherever they found a way. Fire brigade personnel brought the fire under control late in the night with the help of about half a dozen vehicles.
Family members accused the owner of negligence
After this, the bodies of teenagers Kulwinder Singh, Rani, Sukhjit Singh and Gurbhej Singh, who died after being trapped in the fire, were taken out. The relatives of the deceased started a protest in front of the pharmaceutical factory, accusing the factory owners of negligence.
When the relatives did not return home, they ran towards the factory
The cause of the fire is said to be short circuit. Many employees were working inside the factory when the fire broke out. As soon as the fire broke out, everyone ran outside. When the people working in the factory did not reach home even after their leave time, the family members ran towards the factory. Rani's sister, who was killed in the accident, told that when the sister did not come home after leave, they reached the factory in search of her. After coming here he came to know that there was a fire and four people including his sister had lost their lives. The killed people have accused the factory owners of negligence.
