The matter of Congress leader Pawan Khera being dropped from the plane at Delhi airport and then being arrested by the Assam Police has now reached the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has also agreed to the demand for an immediate hearing on this. It has been told that the court will hear it at 3 pm. 

The matter was mentioned before the Supreme Court on behalf of Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi. He urged Chief Justice DY Chandrachud to hear the complaints lodged against Kheda in Varanasi, Lucknow and Assam.
