The life of Melania Trump will be captured in a documentary to be released next year
After publishing a best-selling book, Melania Trump will now have her own documentary, which will be released soon
A documentary about the life of the nation's first lady and her experience of being one of the most famous foreigners in the United States will be released next year.
Through social networks. Amazon MGM Studios, a film and television production and distribution subsidiary of Amazon, announced that “Melania” will be released in US theaters on January 30 and will subsequently be available on its platform.
“It offers unprecedented access to the 20 days leading up to the 2025 presidential inauguration, through the eyes of the first lady-elect herself,” the company described.
The documentary was directed by Brett Ratner, a filmmaker known for the “Rush Hour” saga, and Melania Trump herself is the one who assumed the role of producer.
The production team in charge of the project claims to include “exclusive images that will capture critical meetings, private conversations and never-before-seen environments.” Critics such as Democratic consultant James Carville claim that the budget assigned to it was too high.
“You can produce a world-class documentary for two million dollars. I know that.
You couldn't spend $40 million $ on a documentary if you tried 10 times harder, so where does the money go? Well, we know where it goes. And for [Jeff] Bezos, whose worth is, I don't know, $400 billion, this is peanuts.
Someone ought to look into this, but they could make a documentary about the history of the universe and they couldn't spend $40 million,” he said in January during an interview with Politico, where he spoke about the project, which was in the editing stage at the time.
Away from the fashion catwalks since she married the head of the nation, the 55-year-old Slovenian woman stated at the beginning of this year that she preferred to focus on supporting her son Barron, even though she lived between Florida and New York, but not in the White House.
