Today is the first Monday of Sawan. Devotees are reaching Mahakal Dham in Ujjain since morning to worship and worship Baba Mahakal. After the Corona period, the ride of Baba Mahakal, which is taken out on every Monday of Sawan-Bhadau, is starting again from today i.e. 18th July. Baba Mahakal will go out after two full years to know the condition of the devotees in the form of Manmahesh. The special thing is that this time the ride of Mahakal will again take the traditional route. The route of the ride was changed for the last two years due to the Corona epidemic.
Administrator Ganeshkumar Dhakad told that the first ride of Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar will be taken out through the traditional route. Lord will go on a city tour to have darshan in the form of Manmahesh in a palanquin. Worship of Lord Manmahesh Swaroop will be done in the hall of Mahakal temple at 4 pm.
After this, Shri Manmahesh will be seated in a palanquin and will go on a city tour. The palanquin of Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar after leaving the temple will reach Ramghat via Mahakal Road, Gudri Chauraha, Bakshi Bazar and Kaharwadi. Where God will be consecrated and worshipped with the water of Shipra river. In return, the ride will reach Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple via Ramanujkot, Madhe ki Dharamshala, Kartik Chowk, Khati Ka Mandir, Satyanarayan Mandir, Dhabarod, Tanki Square, Chhatri Chowk, Gopal Mandir, Patni Bazar, Gudri Bazar.
