José Eduardo Derbez remembers tense encounter between Eugenio Derbez and Victoria Ruffo
The Mexican actor spoke about a tense moment he witnessed in his childhood between Eugenio Derbez and Victoria Ruffo, the police almost arrived!
The actor José Eduardo Derbez unlocked an unpleasant memory from his childhood, where the protagonists were his parents: Victoria Ruffo and Eugenio Derbez. According to their statements, the disagreement ended with a tremendous fight between the ex-couple that almost warranted calling the police.
It was during the last episode of his YouTube program “Mixologando”, where Mario Bezares attended as a special guest, that the famous person recalled some moments of his childhood, highlighting the visits to the controversial restaurant “El Charco de las Ranas”, where presenter Paco Stanley lost his life.
“Imagine, they let me see the little and then what happens happens,” he said, referring to the little coexistence he had during his childhood with the Mexican comedian.
This comment opened the door to questions from Mayito regarding the relationship between José Eduardo and Eugenio Derbez: “Did you feel embarrassed when they told you that you couldn't see your father?” mentioned the winner of “La Casa de los Famosos México.”
Given this, the protagonist of "El Tío" responded: "Due to my mother's work, I grew up a lot with my nana and my driver. Then suddenly my father went and looked for me and they came and told me: 'Hey, well, you can't see your dad,'" he recalled.
The famous man went deeper saying: "I knew there was a legal issue, and obviously it was not so easy for my dad to go look for me (...) Legally he couldn't even get close or see me... I did want to see him, but I knew they had their problems," he conceded.
In the talk, José Eduardo Derbez highlighted one of the moments in which he witnessed a clash between his parents due to their lack of coexistence.
“When it was time for me to leave school, the driver and the nurse were already there first thing in the morning,” the story began. "My father grabbed me and said 'I'm coming for my son' and took me out of school (...) My father took me, I remember perfectly, to a place called El Lugar de la Mancha," he recalled.
Victoria Ruffo was greatly surprised when José Eduardo's caregivers told her that he was not at school when they went to pick him up: "As they had had their fights, chance and my mother thought 'he's going to steal it,'" she explained.
While they were both enjoying a meal, father and son, Eugenio Derbez told him that, probably, the consequences could include the authorities: "He told me: 'At any moment the police can come for me, for you, to arrest me. You go home as you like, I'll go see where I end up (...) And I told him: 'No, well I don't want you to end up like this,' but I didn't know what the issue was," he added.
The story concluded with a strong clash between both stars, as revealed by José Eduardo: "He told me: 'No, don't worry.' He put me in his car, my mother took me home and there was chaos that I will never talk about. It was a very ugly chaos... Very ugly things happened and from then on I stopped seeing my dad for a while because obviously the judge got involved and it was like 'you didn't have to go through the child,'" he concluded.
