India is going to take a big leap in the field of space today. Today i.e. on Friday, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will launch the country's first privately developed rocket Vikram-S from Sriharikota Space Station. A new era will begin for Indian space research from today. Preparations have been made for the first launch of the four-year-old start-up Sky Route Aerospace's Vikram-S rocket.

The launch was postponed on November 15: Significantly, the Vikram S rocket was to be launched on November 15 only. But due to bad weather, the launch of Vikram-S was postponed for three days. Today Vikram S rocket will take its flight on time. Rocket Vikram-S will be launched today at 11.30 am.  

Vikram-S rocket will carry three payloads with it: Indigenous rocket Vikram-S will be launched from Satish Dhawan Space Center today. After launch, it will reach an altitude of 81 km. Vikram S will carry two domestic and three foreign payloads named Prarambh with it. The Vikram-S sub-orbital flight will carry three payloads from Chennai-based startup Space Kidz, Andhra Pradesh-based startup N-Space Tech and Armenian startup BazumQ Space Research Lab.

What is the specialty of Vikram-S: Regarding the Vikram rocket, a Sky Route official told that this six-meter long rocket is one of the first few rockets in the world to have 3D printed solid propellants for stability of rotation. This rocket is named after the father of the Indian space program and the late scientist Vikram Sarabhai.
