So far 2700 people have lost their lives in the Israel-Hamas war. Of these, 1200 people have died in Israel and more than 1500 have died in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army is now preparing for war on the ground after air strikes on the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army is ready to attack and about 3.5 lakh of its soldiers have reached the border. The Israeli Army is now just waiting for orders from its government. However, there are many big challenges before the Israeli Army, which if not taken care of in time, may have to pay a heavy price for the Israeli Army. So let us know what are the challenges facing the Israeli Army in case of ground war in Gaza Strip.
1. Gaza Strip is a very densely populated area and about 5500 people live here in every square kilometer area. The streets in the Gaza Strip are narrow and it is not easy to move armored vehicles or tanks through them. In such a situation, it will be very challenging for the Israeli Army to fight a ground battle in such a heavily populated area.
2. There is a possibility of attacks from homes on Israeli soldiers in Gaza Strip. Especially Hamas snipers can prove dangerous here because the houses in Gaza Strip have small skylights and there can be attack from any direction. In such a situation, it may be difficult for Israeli soldiers to control themselves.
3. In the war in Syria and Ukraine, the world has seen that even a strong and well-equipped army can cause huge losses with the help of anti-tank guided missiles and RPGs (Rocket Propelled Grenades). Additionally, Gaza's narrow streets and abundance of residential buildings can prove even more dangerous for the Israeli army.
4. It is not easy to attack or do surveillance with combat helicopters in Gaza Strip because in that situation helicopters can also be easily shot down with the help of man portable air defense system. If this happens then this situation can be very worrying for the Israeli Army.
