Hispanic family asked authorities to clarify why Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detained a two-year-old girl was detained for four hours after her father, a US citizen, was arrested during an operation in Los Angeles. Maria Avalos, the grandmother of little Luna, said that federal immigration agents took her granddaughter, Luna, after the arrest of her father, Denis Quinones, during a raid at a Home Depot store in Los Angeles. “My daughter-in-law called me and said, 'They took Luna, they took Luna,'” Maria Avalos recalled in an interview with Univision.
