Federal agents attempt raid on Ventura farm
Agents were seen Thursday morning near a farm in the town of Somis; activists assured that they did not arrest anyone
Federal immigration agents were seen Thursday morning near a farm in the town of Somis, Ventura County, causing community residents to take to the streets and confront them, while law enforcement blocked the highways.
According to activists, the agents' presence occurred in the area of ??Greentree Drive and Bradley Road, a site where immigrant rights advocates went, who mentioned that federal forces were unable to detain anyone.
"There are no reports that they took anyone. The community was scared. We saw people trying to come looking for their relatives, thinking they had been arrested," one of the activists, Jorge Rios, told ABC.
