The president of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, Hilda Solís, opposes the application presented by the company Lineage Logistics to rebuild the warehouse that burned in June in Boyle Heights.
Solis, supervisor of the county's First District, expressed her rejection of the reconstruction of the facility, where millions of pounds of frozen food were stored, the consequences of the conflagration still affecting the residents of Boyle Heights and nearby neighborhoods.
In a statement, Solís said that, during Tuesday's board meeting, he made it very clear that he does not support the reconstruction of the Lineage building.
