LIC Introduced WhatsApp Chatbot Service: Recently Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has launched WhatsApp Chatbot service. Through this, customers will be able to take all the services related to insurance through WhatsApp message. To use this service, insurance holders will have to use their registered mobile number on the LIC portal. Users will be able to get premium, bonus information etc. through this service from their mobile number. By following these steps, the insured can use this service.

To use this service, the insured will have to send 'Hi' in WhatsApp from the mobile number registered on the LIC portal. Insurance holders will send this message to 8976862090. After this, the insurance holder will be given the option of many types of services. Customers or policy holders can reply to these services using the service of their choice. After this, the insurance holder will be given all the information about the service asked.

Insurance holders can get premium due, bonus information, policy status, loan eligibility quotation, loan repair quotation, loan interest due, premium paid certificate, ULIP statement, LIC service link, opt-in/opt- through LIC's new WhatsApp service. You will get automated messages of out service. Insurance holders can reply by choosing any of these options.

First of all, customers go to the official website of LIC www.licindia.in and click on 'Consumer Portal'.

If the user's number is not already registered here, then click on New User here. Then enter the requested information.

After registering the number, users can create their preferred username and password on the portal.

Then click on the e-Services tab to login to the portal.

Register your policy according to the information given there.

Then print the form and after filling, scan and upload the copy of PAN and Aadhaar card here.

It will be completed as soon as the verification is done by the LIC office. User will be informed through e-mail.

Users can avail LIC services only after verification.
