UKPSC: Big decisions have been taken regarding government jobs in Uttarakhand. The proposal to shift the ongoing recruitment process for 7,000 posts in Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) from Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has been approved.

Let us tell you that the Uttarakhand cabinet meeting was held on 9 September 2022 regarding changes in the rules of Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission i.e. UKSSSC Recruitment Exams and recruitment of principals in government schools of the state. In which a big decision has been taken regarding government exams and schools.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that apart from the currently advertised posts, all departments should prepare a list of vacant posts for direct recruitment and submit it to the Commission, so that advance calendar of future examinations can be issued. According to official sources, in all such examinations for which examinations have been conducted by UKSSSC and results have been declared but the selection is not complete, the remaining process will be done by UKSSSC.

For examinations for which UKSSSC has invited applications but has not conducted any examination, candidates will not be charged the application fee once the notice is published within the purview of UKPSC. The CM has said that to maintain the morale of the youth, the first priority of the government is to conduct recruitment exams by UKPSC soon and to provide employment to the youth.

In other decisions taken by the Council of Ministers, it was decided that 50 percent vacant posts of teachers in government inter colleges would be filled through examination. Some remaining construction work in Kedarnath will be done by the agency working in the past. In addition, five Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalayas will be managed in society mode. The cabinet also approved the opening of Sainik Schools in hilly areas. For this, the government will consider the availability of land and building.
