A man was found dead inside an apartment in the Bronx, New York, after construction workers reported a strong odor coming from the home.
The NYPD responded on Wednesday to a 911 call made around 1:20 p.m. at a building on Longview Avenue in the Bronx.
According to preliminary information cited by the New York Post, workers carrying out renovation work on the property detected a strong odor coming from one of the apartments and reported the situation.
Upon entering the home, officers found the body of an adult man.
