Authorities were surprised to discover firearms in one of the vehicles involved in a head-on collision that occurred Sunday night in Santa Clarita, in Los Angeles County.
The accident, which left one person hospitalized, was reported at approximately 10:21 p.m. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that a person was trapped in a vehicle in the 35100 block of San Francisquito Canyon Road. Calls to 911 indicated that a person was trapped. However, the CHP stated that the individual had freed themselves before officers arrived in their patrol cars.
