A disbarred Hispanic lawyer is wanted by Orange County authorities for allegedly sexually abusing a woman seeking assistance with her immigration status.

Jose Bernal, 65, is identified as the person responsible for raping the immigrant woman, an incident that occurred in November 2024, the Santa Ana Police Department reported Wednesday. According to Santa Ana authorities, the victim of the abuse filed a complaint against the suspect on November 12, 2024.
