Cazzu sets his position on the bill inspired by his case with Nodal
The singer denied being behind the Mexican initiative that seeks the protection of children from absent parents, but thanked the support for her case
In the face of the commotion that was generated by his visit to Mexican territory, Cazzu took advantage of a meeting with the press to dispel some of the rumors that revolve around the legislative initiative proposed in his honor in Michoacán, Mexico, which aims to protect children from absent parents.
Initially, the Argentine rapper clarified that although the initiative is named in her honor, she has no affiliation with the project.
“Regarding that situation, I think it's nice to say for people who are not very clear about it, that it is not my project, it is something from other people, a bill that other people decided to present and use my name in representation,” he explained before the cameras.
Despite this fact, she stressed that she feels flattered to be considered a representative of such an important cause for the Mexican people.
"Of course I am flattered and I would like to help women. I am very happy to be able to represent in some way such common and painful problems for us mothers," she added during the interview.
In this sense, Cazzu sent a message of support to those who are going through a family situation similar to his: “To all the mothers who may be going through some complication of this type, I send you a hug,” he commented.
The statements of 'La Jefa' opened the door to questions about the legal process she faces with her ex-partner and father of her daughter Inti, the singer Christian Nodal. But, despite the openness he has shown on previous occasions, he explained that from now on he cannot comment on the interpreter.
"I'm not allowed to talk about those issues, legally I can't do it. So if you ask me, I can't say it, I can't answer it even if I wanted to, I can't do it, I would like you to understand that (...) I can't really talk about anything that has to do with him," she explained when questioned about the alleged meeting that Nodal would have had with Inti during Cazzu's stay in Houston, Texas.
