The murder of Sinaloan content creator César Gastélum has generated commotion on social networks after he was attacked with bullets while doing a live broadcast on the night of August 4 in Culiacán, Sinaloa.
According to the first reports, the influencer was in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant when two men on a motorcycle approached and one of them shot him.
The attack was recorded in the transmission he was making at the time. State authorities began investigations to clarify the crime and so far no arrests have been reported.

Known among his followers as “Cesarín”, César Gastélum was a content creator originally from Sinaloa who had managed to consolidate an important community on digital platforms, especially on TikTok, where he accumulated nearly 600,000 followers and millions of “likes.” He also maintained a presence on Instagram, YouTube and the Kick streaming platform.
His content was focused mainly on comedy videos, everyday situations and references to northern culture, a style that allowed him to connect with a wide young audience.
In his publications he frequently appeared accompanied by friends and showed scenes of daily life in Culiacán.
After hearing the news, followers, content creators and social media users expressed messages of condolences and shared videos remembering the influencer's work.
