Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez was on Monday questioned for 7 hours in a money laundering case of over Rs 200 crore involving thug Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Fernandes appeared for the second time before the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police in connection with the investigation. The actress was summoned by the Delhi Police for questioning for her alleged role in the case.

It is known that even before this, Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandes was interrogated by the police officers for an 8-hour long. He was interrogated at the office of the Economic Offenses Wing on Mandir Marg. Last Wednesday, Fernandes was questioned for over eight hours along with Pinky Irani. It was Irani who allegedly introduced the actress to Chandrashekhar. Police had earlier said that investigation has revealed that Chandrashekhar had offered a motorcycle to Fernandes' agent Prashant on his birthday, but he had refused to take it. After this, Chandrashekhar left the two-wheeler and its keys with Prashant. The vehicle has been confiscated.

Sukesh Chandrashekhar is currently in jail. He is accused of duping many high profile people including Aditi Singh, wife of Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had on August 17 filed a chargesheet naming Fernandes as an accused in a multi-crore money laundering case involving Chandrashekhar. According to the ED, Fernandes and another Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi had received luxury cars and expensive gifts from Chandrashekhar.

Delhi Police's Economic Offenses Wing officials on Thursday questioned Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi for nearly five hours in connection with the extortion case involving alleged thug Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Officials said this is the second time that the Delhi Police has summoned Fatehi for questioning over his alleged role in the case. Police said that apart from Fatehi, Pinky Irani was also questioned.
