The host Carolina Sandoval and the businessman Nick Hernández are officially separated after two years of legal battle, as confirmed by the famous woman through a video broadcast from her social networks.
Through her Instagram account, the host of “Siéntese Quien Pueda!” She shared the news with her followers just a few minutes after being notified by her legal team: “I am a woman divorced by the Miami Dade court,” she said, visibly excited.
Along with her video, the so-called “Venenosa” posted a reflection in which she spoke about new beginnings: “Today God wrote a new page in my story, and my heart is full of gratitude,” reads the description of her post.
Likewise, he assured that his divorce represents the end of a chapter in his life to which he does not plan to give more attention: "I embrace this new beginning with faith, serenity and the certainty that His will is always perfect. I move forward with hope, love and the joy of knowing that God's plans always exceed our dreams," he added.
How did Carolina Sandoval's family react to the news of her divorce?
In a chat with People magazine, the social media star told how she learned the news, as well as taking a look at her loved ones' reaction.
"I had no idea that today was going to be. I had told my colleagues and friends from the show, 'I think it should be a little while now,'" he explained to the magazine.
Regarding her family's reaction to the resolution of her divorce, the famous woman said: "My mother was very excited and moved, and my daughter Barbara too, for a long time she wanted to see me like this (...) If I am happy, they are happy. My youngest daughter told me on vacation in Santorini, 'Mommy, if you smile, I am happy.'"
Carolina Sandoval decided to end this bitter chapter of her life with a positive message: "It was something that my soul and my heart needed to close a cycle. And what better than at this stage of my life, in peace, calm, with learning involved, with new projects," she said.
