How was Dua Lipa and Callum Turner's wedding in Palermo?
After their discreet civil wedding in London, the pop star and the actor sealed off the Sicilian capital for a luxurious three-day celebration
Italy became the epicenter of one of the most important events of the year. Dua Lipa and Callum Turner chose the historic city of Palermo, in Sicily, to celebrate their second marriage in a massive event that is already classified as the wedding of the year.
After saying “I do” in plain clothes at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London, the couple went all out with a lavish three-day celebration that completely transformed the Sicilian setting.
The celebrations kicked off with a dazzling “welcome party” in Piazza Croce dei Vespri, right in front of the legendary Palazzo Valguarnera Gangi.
For the occasion, the “Levitating” singer captured everyone's attention wearing a spectacular custom white dress by Bottega Veneta, complemented with exclusive Bulgari jewelry.
For her part, the iconic designer Donatella Versace, a close friend of the bride, dazzled in a striking gold fringe dress. The evening closed with a very local touch: margherita pizza served on silver trays to the rhythm of classics like “Le Freak”.
The central day moved to an idyllic 18th century villa. There, in a dreamlike environment and surrounded by lots of vegetation, the couple exchanged vows in a ceremony full of tears of emotion.
The musical finishing touch was provided by Sir Elton John, who acted as a witness and moved the nearly 300 guests, among whom stood out figures such as Katy Perry, Robbie Williams, Mark Ronson, Charli XCX and the members of BLACKPINK, Jennie and Rosé.
Despite the strict security measures that forced the historic center to be shielded, provoking some protests from local residents under the motto “our square is not your living room”, the wedding highlighted Sicily as the most coveted wedding destination of 2026, sealing the love story of the singer and the actor.
