This week, Karol G launched the television special La PremiEre on her official YouTube channel, a documentary project that is part of the universe of her acclaimed latest album, Tropicoqueta.

The special, which pays tribute to Latin vedettes and aimed to bring families together in front of the television, had already been successfully broadcast last The premiere will air this weekend on television networks in 40 countries.

La PremiEre is a production of Bichota Films, the singer's own production company, and was filmed in iconic locations such as Mexico City, Cartagena, Los Angeles, and Medellin.

In a statement released by her agency, Karol G shared her excitement about the impact of her music: “So many different generations united listening to my music. Seeing the nostalgia that people can feel listening to one of my songs is completely magical.”

With a visual aesthetic that evokes the nostalgia of the 90s and 2000s, the project directed was by Karol G herself, Pedro Artola, and Stillz. It included notable musical collaborations such as “Dile Luna” with Eddy Lover, “Coleccionando Heridas” with Marco Antonio Solis, and “FKN Movie” with Mariah Angeliq. In addition, La PremiEre featured special appearances by iconic figures such as La Tigresa del Oriente and Brazilian vedette Valeria Valensa. Following its successful television debut, where it led its time slot among viewers aged 25 to 34, La PremiEre proved to be a phenomenon on the video platform as well, accumulating over 466,000 views on YouTube since its release.
